Our Work

Black Farmers’ Market Memphis

An open-air weekly, seasonal, community farmers’ market.

This community market is an inclusive venue and marketplace in a food desert, that brings together farmers, growers, foodpreneurs, artisans, and makers to serve as an outlet for selling locally grown produce, dairy, farm raised meats, baked goods, and more directly to the public with intent to have farmers markets assume their historic role as vital social and economic institutions in many marginalized communities.

PotLiquor At Slave Haven

a cultural culinary storytelling event at the historic Slave Haven Museum

This event incorporated elements of culture, cuisine, education, entertainment, and community engagement via powerful stories and personal narratives. The space included local vendors, musical performances, and cultural food demonstrations showcasing traditional dishes and culinary practices that have been preserved and passed down through generations.
